Description
Love and Rockets Vol. IV Book One collects the first six issues of the new, magazine-sized comic book just as they are—with Jaime’s and Gilbert’s storylines as intertwined segments. Published 2016–2018, this is the continuation of the 40+ year series fans have been clamoring for! While portions have appeared as standalone graphic novels, much of this material has yet to be reprinted. In this book, when a Hoppers punk show reunion throws Maggie, Hopey, and the rest of the Locas/Locos gang back together, glimpses of their past helps them move into their future. Plus: in further installments of Jaime’s SF serial, Lumina and Isla search their galaxy for the See Stone, aided by the powerful and mysterious Princess Anima. Meanwhile, Gilbert’s storyline concerns the break-up of Fritz’s and Pipo’s marriage—just as Fritz reconnects with her teen twin daughters, Baby and Rosy, and grapples with aging as an artist. And, in one of the most moving chapters in the Palomar saga, Luba and her grown children reconnect at Guadalupe’s wedding. Here comes the groom … Steve?!
