FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a pre-order? You order a comic before it is released. The publisher prints it, the distributor delivers it to us, and we send it to you.
What is FOC? FOC means “final order cutoff”. It is the last day on which shops can order an issue from the distributor. After that date, the number of copies is fixed. Because we only order what customers have pre-ordered, we must close the pre-order before that date.
What is the “Order by” date on a product page? That is the last day you can pre-order the issue in our shop. It is always one day before the FOC date. After that, the product is no longer available to order.
When do I pay? You pay when you place the order. We accept credit / debit card, EPS, PayPal and Klarna.
When will my comics ship? We ship your order as soon as all items in it have arrived with us. We do not send partial deliveries. Publishers sometimes change release dates; if that happens, your parcel ships later.
Can I order several issues together? Yes. All items in one order ship together once everything has arrived. If you want a faster delivery, order items that are already in stock separately from long-term pre-orders.
Can I cancel? Yes. You have a right of withdrawal for 14 days after you receive the goods. The “Vertrag widerrufen / Withdraw from contract” button is on every page of the shop. Details are here.
Where do you deliver? We deliver to Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. Not yet: Cyprus, Malta and countries outside the EU.
How much is shipping? Shipping is charged per order and depends on the country. The cost appears at checkout before you pay. There is no free shipping at the moment.

How can I pay? Credit / debit card, PayPal, EPS bank transfer or Klarna. Payment is due at checkout.
Why is there no VAT on the invoice? FAT KATZ COMICS e.U. is a small business under § 6 (1) no. 27 of the Austrian VAT Act. Our prices are final prices; we do not charge or show VAT.
Which comics are “in stock”? Most comics are pre-orders. If an item is in stock, it usually ships within one working day.
Something went wrong with my order. Who do I ask? Email info@fatkatzcomics.shop with your order number. We answer as quickly as we can.
